Therians: “I Believe I’m an Animal”

“Externally, I am a human being…but internally, I am a leopard,” says Stephen, one subject in a recent documentary called “WHAT?! I Think I’m an Animal” on Logo TV. There seems to be a growing number in “therians,” or people who believe they are animals. According to Wikipedia, “Therianthropy is the mythological ability of human beings to metamorphose into animals by means of shapeshifting.” Not sure what that being a therian means, exactly?

Here’s therian Stephen, aka “Shroud,” (his leopard name) and a glimpse into his daily life as an African leopard. To watch the entire documentary of people who believe they are animals, you can see it here.
