Toyota is at it again! The team famous for the eco-conscious Prius is currently in testing of another advancement for their electronic fleet–wireless charging. This video demonstrates the Toyota team in a very early stage of testing for the new system.
So how does it work?
“The new technology allows a car to be charged simply by parking it in alignment with a coil set into the surface of the ground. This makes the process simpler and easier, dispensing with cables and connectors,” claims Toyota. As of now, a full charge only takes 90 minutes!
