For many people, being able to say “I am the very best at this” and earning a world record is a huge source of pride. For New Delhi man Har Parkash Rishi, aka “Guinness Rishi,” earning world records is his life’s work.
In fact, an interview with the Huffington Post claimed Rishi had “366 flags tattooed on his body and had all his teeth removed so he could put nearly 500 drinking straws and more than 50 burning candles in his mouth.”
So how did the 74-year-old get his start? On scooters, of course. Back in 1990, Rishi and two friends got their first world record by riding scooters for 1,001 hours. Since then, he’s completed more than 20 other world records, including chugging an entire bottle of ketchup in less than four minutes and delivering a pizza from New Delhi to San Francisco.
